Site Description: The National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was formed in March 2006 by the integration of four institutions under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, namely, the Documentation and Information Center, the Resources and Environment Science Information Center, the Chengdu Documentation and Information Center and the Wuhan Documentation and Information Center, and implemented the director responsibility system under the leadership of the Council. The main museum is located in Beijing, with three secondary legal person branches located in Lanzhou, Chengdu, and Wuhan. It also relies on several research institutes (schools) to establish characteristic branches. The museum currently has over 470 employees and a building area of 80000 square meters, providing high-speed and convenient technological information services through the internet.
