In fact, whether hemorrhoids can self heal mainly depends on what type of hemorrhoids you are.

If it is a mild initial hemorrhoid, it can be self-healed by adjusting lifestyle, such as avoiding prolonged sitting and standing, abstaining from alcohol, and maintaining unobstructed bowel movements. If you don't pay attention to your lifestyle habits, it's still easy to relapse.

If it is a moderate to severe patient, it needs to be treated with medication or surgery, which is difficult to self heal.

The method of identifying whether it is mild hemorrhoids is also very simple. If you wipe paper with blood or have a small amount of blood in your stool, the hemorrhoids may slightly protrude, or after prolapse, they can return to their original position, occasionally causing slight pain, which indicates mild hemorrhoids.

If the prolapse occurs after defecation, or if it cannot return to its original position, such as coughing, walking, sneezing, or even when abdominal pressure increases, the prolapse occurs. If the blood in the stool is severe, such as dripping or spurting blood, edema, or thrombotic external hemorrhoids, and the pain is strong, it indicates moderate to severe hemorrhoids.
