The judicial administrative organs are an important component of China's national power and occupy an important position in the judicial system and legal construction of our country. After the establishment of the People's Republic of China, in accordance with the Organic Law of the Central People's Government, the Ministry of Justice of the Central People's Government was established on October 30, 1949. After the promulgation of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China in 1954, it was renamed the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China. At the same time, administrative district judicial departments were established in major administrative regions. After the revocation of major administrative regions, judicial departments and bureaus of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government were successively established, with specialized institutions responsible for judicial administrative work established at the regional and municipal levels.
